Considering that this Tumblr was just an experimentation, I’ve decided to end it. It was originally supposed to be posting short stories from my fiction writing class or writing a little anecdote about my day, but I got caught up with Robert Lowell and Anne Sexton’s work and I started to steer into a confessional stream of consciousness that frankly wasn’t very good. Also, I have another tumblr that I post to regularly and it’s already hard keeping up with one. So I’m going to let this one sit for a week and if I decide not to write in it again, then I’ll just delete it.
I just finished watching Certified Copy. I laughed…I cried…such a beautiful movie. What was also beautiful was the scenery in Italy as the characters are driving to Lucignano from Arezzo. *sigh* Parlo un po’ d’italiano. Or at least enough to get me by. Not enough to find love in Italy. And speaking of love…L’amore è una cosa strana. Am I right? Ho bisogno di un uomo italiano. Where can I find one?
